Original description Der vorigen Form in Gestalt ähnlich, ebenfalls sehr robust. Endtergit auch breit, ziemlich flach und ohne Kiel. Analrand breit und vor allem kurz, die Grübchen klein. Punktierung ziemlich dicht und nicht grob, auf dem 2. Abdomentergit nach hinten meist mehr zerstreut. Vorderkörper ziemlich einfarben dunkelblau, aber auf dem Scutellum mehr oder weniger; den Tegulae, und vor allem am Pronotum hellglänzend; letzteres oft ganz heller blau oder grün (was sehr selten auch bei andern ignita-Formenvorkommt).
