Original description Chrysis viridi nitens, abdomine aureo apice emarginato.
Habitat prope Novas, rarissima. Long. 4. lin. Lat. 1. 1/3 lin.
Statura Chrys. Austriacae, at distincta. Antennae nigrae, articulo primo subtus coeruleo. Corpus totum ut in plerisque Chrysidibus confertissime punctum, splendore metallico nitens. Caput viridi coeruleum, postice nigrum. Thorax cum pectore pariter viridi coeruleum: margine antico tenuissimo maculaque media quadrata nigris: scutello laete viridi-aureo. Abdomen aureum, unicolor, apice sensěm emarginatum. Venter dorso concolor. Pedes viridi-coerulei, tarsis omnibus testaceis. Alae hyalinae, coellula radiali incompleta ut in Hedychris. (Mas?)

Observatio. Chrysides habitu et partibus oris ab Hedychris satis distinctae, cum ipsis necessario confundentur, si alarum cellulae in generibus condendis solae adhibeantur. Cellula cubitalis reipsa in Chrysidibus completa et incompleta in Hedychris invenitur et caetera perfecte conveniunt. Tamen incompleta interdum reperitur etiam in nonnullis veris Chrysidibus. Ex Chrysis emarginatula mihi, comparata et Jurinae Lepel., scutellaris et purpurata Fab. etc.
