Original description Chrysis cyaneo viridis, abdominis basi, segmento secundo tertioque antice nigro-cyaneis, ano sex dentato.

Il est de la grandeur du Chrysis bigarré. Le corps est d'un vert bleuâtre, pointillé, luisant. Les antennes & les yeux sont noires; les aîles sont noirâtres. L'abdomen est renflé, avec la base, le second & le troisième anneaux antérieurement, d'un bleu indigo; l'anus a six pointes. Le dessous du corps & les pattes sont verts; les tarses sont noirâtres.
Il se trouve dans le provinces méridionales de la France.
