Original description Tête et corselet bleus. Quelques taches vertes sur le prothorax et le mésothorax. Métathorax peu saillant en arrière, arrondi. Antennes et pattes noires, les cuisses ayant quelques reflets bleuâtres. Abdomen d'un rouge de feu très-brillant avec le bord du dernier segment, après la rangée de points ordinaires, bleu et quadridenté. Dessous bleu. Ailes transparentes, leur cellule radiale presque fermée (femelle). Long. 8 ½ mill., hab. Barcelone. Nous avons dédié cette espèce à M. Graels, l'un des entomologistes les plus distingués de l'Espagne. Elle est très-voisine de la Chrysis ignita.
