Original description Glabra, nitida thorace viridi coeruleo, abdomine aureo-rubro, ano coeruleo, quadridentato.
Facie simillima C. Ignitae, sed paulo minor, & angustior. Differ a C. Ignita tantum ultimis duobus segmentis coeruleis uti in C. Calens. Subtus tota coerulea. Antenne, oculi, plantae nigrae. Captae duae in horto.
