Original description Long. 5 millim. — Virescens, abdominis dorso aureo-cupreo vix micante; fronte, prothoracis medio, mesothoracis area media postscutelloque cyaneo-nigricantibus. Prothorace coriaceo-reticulato, thoracis caeteris partibus confertim et crasse punctatis, abdomine dense et mediocriter punctato. Antennis, nigris, pedibus cyaneis, genubus, tibiarum apice tarsisque testaceis; ventre nigro maculis aureis resplendente.
La Penne (près Marseille), très-rare, sur les nids d'un petit Halictus. Diffère à première vue des Lucidulum, Goersteckeri [sic] et rutilans par les crochets des tarses partant de deux points différents, la réticulation coriacée du prothorax, et du minutum, par sa forte ponctuation abdominale.
