Re: Distinctive chrysidid? N Apennines.

Thank you for your reply. I had forgotten that the male of frivaldszkyi is so different from the female! Indeed it seems rather similar to female subsinuata perhaps. I had not realised that my photos show a male! Thanks again.,

Distinctive chrysidid? N Apennines.

... projections. I have not found an image online that exactly matches but Chrysis subsinuata is somewhat similar. This is a new species for me so I’d really like to have a name!

Chrysis with partly green T1, N Apennines, Italy

... mostly poor images left. Apologies. Can anything useful be said about this chrysidid? Seem to be no apical teeth. I wondered if it could be subsinuata, but is there enough information to say this? Found running and climbing in one of many patches of moss-like Saxifrage on an open mountainside, ...

Re: Chrysura sp. 5

Hi Lukas,

the last two weeks I was very busy without free time for the forum.
This specimen is a Chrysis subsinuata alienigena Linsenmaier, 1999.

Ciao!
