This is another interesting form.
Your specimen in Russia is usually identified as Chrysis scutellaris, even if the colouration is obviously different from C. scutellaris collected in western Europe.
Conventionally the distribution of C. scutellaris is W Europe to central Europe,
then from eastern Europe and SE Europe only C. soror should be distributed. Nevertheless, I (and Arens) think that C. soror is only the eastern colour variation of C. scutellaris because there is any difference in genitalia and females are separated only on the collecting locality.
The specimens from Rostov are somehow in the middle between C. scutellaris and C. soror, but only few data are available from Russia and more material is needed for a better study.
