Luco hello, hello Paolo Hi everyone - this year I did not shoot much Chrysis-but I have one of the new northern Crete - Rethimno.
You sure you know what kind it is - the size of about 6 mm

Beatiful picture, and species!
Holopyga sp., but which one.. ? I have some pictures from the net of a female H. jurinei that looks similar, but I cant vouch for that the species in identified correctly, or if there are several species with this colouration. We'll have to wait for Paolo :)

Hi Pepik!

I'm sorry for my delay in replying.

It's a female of Holopyga jurinei Chevrier
It was already cited for Crete by Strumia (2006), in his checklist of the species linving in the island.
By the way this year I collected some Chrysidids in Crete too.

Cheers
Paolo
