Hello,

3 years ago I have photographed this wasp (length about 7 mm or so; I am not sure) and classified it as Chrysis sp. Can someone determine it more closely, or is it – by means of photos – impossible?

Location:Germany, Rhineland-Palatinum,53572 Unkel, river Rhine valley, warm and dry habitat, 14th April 2009.

Hi Michael,

you're right. It belongs to the Chrysis ignita group.
But I don't think it is possible to ID the species level.

thenk you very much for the localisation of the species. Chrysis-ignita-group is helpful.

Besides, I want to try GoogleMap for to show the location, where I have photographed the wask. Hope it works.
