Pseudospinolia cfr. uniformis Dahlbom, 1845 - Romania

Hi,

Me again with another request for an identification ;) .
This is the only time when I have collected a bigger number of specimens (but only this species), 15 specimens collected (all males :( ? ). All where collected on flowers of Lepidium draba.

Collected in south-east of Romania, close to the coast of Black Sea (Romania: Dobrodja: Constanta: near Neptun, Leg. Cosmin O. Manci).

Is possible to have a full name?

A bigger photo here.

:o  :wohow: :wow:

Pseudospinolia uniformis (Dahlbom, 1854).

Aspetto una tua analisi!
Ciao
Paolo

also to me the one from the paper is completely different.
the genitalia is extremely small, the smallest I have seen until now in the few chrysididae that I have, so is immpossible for me to take better photos in conditions from here.

here is an illustration I have made after one, through the binocular... I have six males extracted (and another 9 in tubes), all six have the same genitalia.

upps, forget to put the date... is 14.may.2011.
just now I have taken the specimens out from the freezer and prepared.

if you want I will keep for you 3 specimens (back in the freezer ???), 3 will go to Daniele Baiochi and 3 to Francesco Izzillo.

Hope this will help to have a name.

Grazie,

Yes, I just compared your perfect picture with the genital capsulae of my Italian and Spanish specimens, and your genital capsula looks very different. I cannot exclude that this is a new species!

If you can send me a couple of these males it would be great. Only the direct examination could confirm this analysis. Please I prefer at least one specimen not prepared (I would like to prepare the internal sternites and tergites as well).

:thanks:
Paolo

Hi everyone.

No, I never received the specimens.

I know that Cosmin is going to be merried this months, so probably he didn't have time to send it.

Waiting for his replay ... and return ;)
