I'm just an amateur that could be able? (I think!) to identify, yesterday, this beautiful wasp through your's check list. I suppose that i'm correct but because this little wasp is still not registered on portuguese database Naturdata, i tried other DB, your's in this case and i think it was fruitfull.
It was fotographed at North of Portugal (Maia,16 km north of Porto) at 15/Ago/2012, a bit far-north outside the generic range that you show on this specie's file. Any way, it was by chance because i was photographing the other one you see and not this one ..so it was necessary to make a zoom on this photo and on another one. Thanks; and sure, if i made a mistake, please correct me. The photographs have integrated GPS coordinates information.

Yes, it is a Chrysis semicincta Lepeletier, 1806. It seems to be a male.

The species is well known from the Iberian Peninsula - and beyond. Try to investigate the reason why Naturdata does not report such record: maybe you can contact them.

Yes, i already sent it for Naturdata where i put much of what i found/photograph.
Probably the record list of species still miss some.

It's the official European website. Even if some data are missing, it is still a good starting point for the distribution of the Hymenoptera in Europe.
