Please, modify your posts and add localities and collecting periods. Sometimes it's very usefull.
This is not
Philoctetes sculpticollis, but it is closely related to
Ph. bidentulus (Lepeletier, 1806).
Where did you collected it? Abeille described from Ukraine
appendicinus, which seems to be only a simple varietas of
bidentulus, with very long 'teeth' at the apex of T-III.
From Caucasus, Semenov described
kuznetsovi which is very similar to
bidentulus. If you compare your specimen with picture 79 (p. 252) in Kimsey & Bohart you'll find it.
The problem is that I don't know how to separate
kuznetsovi from
bidentulus. Very likely they are the same species, but I should compare more material. Unfortunately Semenov didn't give any illustration or key for his species.
