Omalus sp. ?? S Spain --> Pseudomalus cf. auratus

Happy New Year to you all!!! :D :beer:

This time pictures are not so good ;) but I would very much appreciate the confirmation of genus Omalus, and any hint of a possible species would be great :ok:

Found in Motril, Granada, SE Spain on 04.08.2013, feeding on Foeniculum vulgare by a pond.

Dear Piluca,

it depends on the authors.
If you follow Mingo (1994) and Linsenmaier (1959) this specimen belongs to the genus Omalus.
If you follow Kimsey & Bohart (1991) and Fauna Europaea it belongs to the genus Pseudomalus. We follow the American authors.

About the species, it should be auratus (Linnaeus), but it is not so clear from the images.
