Hi forum!

My friend Claus asked me if I could ask you guys to please have a look at this one.

He saw it june 15th last year, Denmark, searching on a bee hotel. Claus thinks it might be a chrysis sp, maybe Impressa?
He remembers it to be around 10mm.

thanks for these interesting pictures.
I think that you're right, and your specimen looks like a Chrysis impressa.
However, as you know, to be fully sure we should check the specimen.

Just thinking. Would it be that this chrysis is parasitic on Ancistrocerus parietinus? Cause that was the bee nest it was searching on. And Would this info help on a determination?
