Good evening everybody,

I am sending pictures of two specimens, however, I believe they belong to the same species. Both captured on a very hot day (34 C) in the same location, Southern Moravia, Czech republic. One of my best days, a kind of entomological paradise

Thank you for any hints.

Regards

David

Thank you Alex.

There are 6 Holopyga species confirmed in the Czech republic - could these specimens belong to males of Holopyga fervida ?

Regards

David

Hi David!

Yes, it's a male of Holopyga fervida,
you can recognise it by the unpuctured surface antero-medially on scutellum.

Cheers
Paolo
