Have suggested such identification - Hedychrum nobile. Correctly? Crimea, 06/2014. Size about 6-8 mm

Hi Bogdan,

it looks like a female of Hedychrum niemelai Linsenmaier, because it is slender and not "robust".
The dimensions are very important in this case, if it is longer than 8mm it's only H. nobile. Around 6-8 could be H. nobile or H. niemelai. The diagnostic character is visible on the ventral surface of the abdomen, so it is not possible to confirm the ID of this specimen from the pictures. Both species are common in Europe and Crimea. Did you collect the specimen?
