Hi at all!
First of all I want to thank all of you who show their finds here and also to all who determinate the shown species. Til now I've learnt a lot!
I'm watching this forum since about three years and now I try to make the first step not only to consume..
The first pictures I want to share with you were taken of a species who starteds the season in April this year. Normally in our region (South Germany) you can see trimaculata in March, but this season came very late. C. trimaculta is a quick species and I needed to study their habit for getting reasonable picture. When they are sitting on flowers later in the season it's a little bit easier. But I had to figure out where they sleep (snail shells) and wait til the go to bed. Before that they clean themselves properly an.. that's my chance...sometimes...
Best regards Paul
