Chrysis ignita-group male

Hi folks,

today I visited my favorite location near our village and was happy to see that still two species were around.
One was T. cyanea and the other a male(?) of the ignita-group. Probably it belongs to C. terminata, but I'm not shure. It would be nice to fix a determination. Anyway: I was surprised to see a male at this time. I didn't see any female of this species.

All the best Paul

Hi Paul,

nice finding!
Yes, I think that C. terminata is a reliable identification.
They usually fly in late summer and autumn, but november is an interesting collecting date...
