I think it is something else, Chrysura cuprea has the head of a darker copper colour.
Lets see what Paolo has to say. I have another specimen shot before that has not been ID either.

Hi Guillermo,

yes, I'm not sure about it.
It is not Chrysura cuprea (its head is entirely red) and not even Chrysura purpureifrons.

It should be Chrysura pseudodichroa Linsenmaier, but we should check the specimen...

Sierra Nevada is a hot spot for endemic species. Maybe it is something new!
I do not have any experience catching insects. Furthermore it is a national park.
