Hi everbody
a few days ago I took pictures of a rather big chrysidid wasp (12 mm) in the soutern part of Switzerland (Valais) and I do not knew which species it is. Can anybody help me? Is it Chrysis longula?

In my opinion I would agree. The shape of the head and the apical look seems to fit.
But that's only an intention "out of the belly" after comparing with some of my own specimen.

Yeah, the "habitus" fits very well with C. longula, but it could of course be something like a slightly oddC. impressa or something as well. Without pictures showing the really diagnostic characters its hard to be absolutely sure, at least for me
