Hello Hedy! Welcome to Chrysis.net Forum!
You have posted really great pictures, it's a pleasure for us to host them.

This specimen belongs to Elampus genus, the species could be probably Elampus panzeri (Fabricius 1804), well known from Europe and from Holland.

My compliments to you for the beautiful picture.

I ask to you the permission to use it for the Database of the Italian Chrysididae.

Welcome Hedy!

Great pictures! Cool!

Gian Luca is right. I'm revising this genus and this name will change in the next future. At the moment you can use Elampus panzeri (Fabricius) sensu Moczar.
For a very long time this species has been called Elampus constrictus (Foerster) and still today who follows Linsenmaier's main work uses this name.

Cheers
Paolo
