Who can tell me more about this Chrysid...?
I have only this picture taken 30-8-2007 in Zeist, Holland with my old camera.

Hi Hedy,

your chrysidid is Holopyga generosa(Foerster). Probably a male.
Its biology is completely unknown.

Hello Paolo,

In the species list of Holland it is indicated as a rare species.
Nice that you recognize it, to me they seem to be all the same.

Honestly it's one of the most common European species.
However the shape of the mesopleurae is quite typical and in the Netherlands there should be only generosa within its species group.
