Per i visitatori. I visitatori possono vedere le foto via via pubblicate nelle pagine dedicate alle categorie previste dal concorso. Ogni visitatore potrà votare tutte le foto che desidera, ma solamente una volta per ogni foto.
Per i partecipanti. Per partecipare al concorso con le proprie foto, basta inviare le immagini digitali a: 
chrysis.net@gmail.com. Viene usata in questo caso questa casella e-mail perchè è molto capiente e consente di ricevere messaggi anche di grandi dimensioni. Le regole per gli Autori sono riportate nel seguito.
Come funziona. After November 2008 the rating system will be removed and the photos sorted by their final rank, from the most rated to the less rated. Anyway, all the photos previously showed will remain visible. The first twelve ranked photos will become the pages of a printed Calendar for the year 2009 (with days and months in English language). The calendar will be printed in a professional way with the best paper and resolution. Two calendar formats will be available. The Calendar will be sent by post for free to the Authors of the twelve winning photos. Otherwise, the calendar can be ordered by e-mail.

Categories: a) Wasps in general; b) Chrysidids only. Each Author can post photos in both the categories.
Subjects: Wasps, bees and ants (see some examples) for the category "Wasps in general" and Chrysidids (cuckoo-wasps, ruby-tailed wasps, gold wasps, see some examples) for the category "Chrysidids only". The specimen(s) pictured must be taken in its(their) natural environment, alive, naturally active and not stunned or unconscious or senseless with chemicals or other tricks. Dead specimens or senseless specimens are banned.
Image formats: all, also RAW formats. Photos must be in the highest resolution allowed by your camera. Low resolution images will be rejected. We do not accept printed photos. We accept only files.
Number of shots: you can send us as many photos you wish; anyway, we suggest you to make a preliminary selection of the best shots. If they are really many, please write us before trying to send them all together. You can send your photos at this e-mail container: chrysis.net@gmail.com.
After-shooting retouch ('Photoshopping'): accepted, but you must declare it. The original photo and the final one must be provided, together with the list of the filters/effects applied, "crop" included.
Shooting data: required. For each photo the main shooting data must be reported (camera, lens, exposure, additional lenses, flash, etc.), together with Author's generalities (First and Second Name, Country, web site) and shooting location and date (i.e., Italy, near Rome, 2007).
Publishing date: the photos will be published immediately, according to the technical operations that they should require.
