For
the first time all the wasps within the tribe “Aculeata”
of Germany are mentioned in a comprehensive book of
360 pages. In addition to detailed descriptions of the
fascinating social, solitary and parasitoid life cycles
of the more than 600 species of Germany, detailed keys
to identification are given. More than 330 high quality
macrophotos and over 100 drawings give a clear and vivid
impression of the biology of Vespid wasps, Sphecid wasps,
Scoliid wasps, Chrysidid wasps, Pompilid wasps and of
the other Families.
