Hi,

Another day, another place and two other Chrysididae .
When collected I was sure that this two belong to the same species, same general colors, almost the same size but when preparing and specially when extracted... two species.

This is the second species/specimens from that place.

Collected in 6.july.2011 in Romania (Oltenia), close to Drobeta Turnu-Severin on Daucus carota flower.

Is possible to know more? Posted also here.

Hi

male of Chrysis marginata Mocsáry

Linsenmaier described this form as marginata ssp. aliunda (W subspecies), but this species is quickly spreading in W European countries, so that it is impossible to separate it from the typical form.

Ciao
