intersting, it's a female of Chrysura refulgens (Spinola), but the collecting period is very late, usually it flies from May to June.

Hi All,

Alex is right, Chrysura trimaculata.
The other possibility was Chrysura refulgens, which is very common and also flying in this period. However the general habitus and hairs on head and thorax are diagnostic.

This is an other common species along the W Mediterranean Counties.
It's Chrysura refulgens (Spinola), one of the largest Chrysididae in our Fauna.

Chrysura refulgens (Spinola) Northern Italy!

Today, Alpi Marittimi, Northern Italy. I think maybe Elampus because of the pointed last end of the backplate (but only because I saw Elampus panzeri once in the Netherlands.... :? ). About 10mm (estimate)
