Is this a female Hedychrumnobile, found on Solidago canadensis?
Hi Paolo, thanks for correcting my answer to Brianwillum! Good to learn about the size difference; I wonder if it holds true for UK populations because I have some images of large individuals that I can perhaps now call nobile!
Female of either H. niemelai or nobile. Cannot separate them without a specimen and microscope! But I am no expert, just someone who likes to watch and photograph chrysidids. Perhaps one of the experts will confirm.
