Original description Chrysis cyaneo-viridis, abdominis segmentis duobus primoribus rubro-cupreis, ano cyaneo quadridentato. Il est petit, d'un vert bleuâtre. Les antennes & les yeux sont noirs; la tête est verte, un peu bleuâtre postérieurment. Le corcelet est vert, bleuâtre au milieu: les pattes sont vertes, avec un peu de bleu a leur bâse, & avec les tarses noirs; l'abdomen est alongé, d'un noir bleuâtre, avec le deux premiers anneaux rouges en dessus, & quatre dents à l'extrémité du dernier. Je l'ai reçu de M. l'abbé Latreille qui l'avoit trouvé en Angoumois.
