Original description Submediocris, elongata, parce albo-pilosa, laete-cyanea; fronte cum vertice, pronoto, mesonoti lobis lateralibus, scutello, postscutello pleurisque supra cupreo-auratis; cavitate faciali sat profunda, punctulato-coriacea, medio canaliculata, superne flexuoso-marginata, ramulum utrinque brevem ocellos versus demittente; antennarum scapo cyaneo, articulis duobus primis flagelli viridi-subauratis, reliquis fuscis, articulo secundo proportionaliter longo, tertio duplo longiore; clypeo punctato laete-viridi-aurato, genis sat longis, articulo tertio flagelli aequilongis; fronte et vertice thoraceque supra punctato-reticulatis; pronoto parte antica in medio impresso, metanoti angulis postico-lateralibus dentibus acutis viridi-auratis; abdomine baseos macula nigro-aenea, dorsalibus primo toto et secundi parte apicali cupreo-coccineoque auratis, fascia antice subreniformi medio parum producta viridi-aureoque limbata, secundo parte basali tertioque laete-cyaneis, hoc in medio linea longitudinali viridi-aurata, segmentis omnibus, anticis parum dispersius, posticis densius, subrugose-punctatis, serie anteapicali foveolis profundis subrotundis circiter 8, margine apicali quadridentato, dentibus intermediis arcuato-obtusis, obsoletis, lateralibus brevibus subacutis, emarginatura centrali lateralibus angustiore; ventre viridi-aeneo, segmento secundo utrinque nigro-maculato; pedibus virescenti-cyaneis, tarsis fuscis; alis subhyalinis, venis fuscis, cellula radiali lanceolata completa, tegulis cyaneis medio viridi-maculatis, - ♀; long. 6 ½ mm.

Jucunda haec species Chrys. semicinctae Lep. feminae similis et affinis; sed fronte cum vertice mesonotique lobis lateralibus cupreo-auratis, cavitate faciali superne distincte flexuoso-marginata, ramulum utrinque brevem ocellos versus emittente, metanoti angulis postico-lateralibus dentibus acutis viridi-auratis, abdomine baseos macula nigro-aenea, serie ante-apicali foveolis maioribus profundioribusque, praesertim distincta.

Patria: Macedonia Turciae Europeae, ibidem die 9 Junii 1869 detecta et a l. Dom. Wüstnei mecum benevole communicata (Coll. Wüstnei).
