Original description Description of Chrysis scutellaris Panzer, 1798
glabra viridis nitens, thorace cyaneo postice bidentato, scutello producto, ano emarginato.
Habitat Norimbergae. Dn. Sturm Faun. Ins. germ. Pictor attulit.
Parva. Corpus totum glabrum nitidum. Antennae nigrae. Caput, thorax, scutellum, cyanea punctata. Scutelli apex productus, et in mucronem quasi elongatus. Thorax apice utrinque denticulo acuto acuminatus. Abdomen viride, nitidum. Anus inermis, f. nullo dente armatus, aft emarginatura notabili notatus. Pedes cyanei, digitis rufis. Alae basi albae hyalinae, apice fuscae. Corpus subtus cyaneo-nitidum.
