Original description H. thorace sub scutello gibboso. Tête et corcelet d'un vert bleuâtre. Yeux et antennes noires. Corcelet relevé en bosse sous l'écusson. Abdomen d'un vert plus ou moins doré: troisième segment échancré. Pieds d'un vert bleuâtre. Ailes enfumées.
Mâle. Des environs de Paris.
